Ludacris wins full custody of his break baby.

In case you haven’t heard, while on a “break” from his now wife, Eudoxie, Ludacris (Chris Bridges) got another woman pregnant.  Yesterday, he was awarded full custody of the baby, who is now one.

The mother, Tamika, stated earlier that he and Eudoxie got married so quickly (I think they got engaged and married on the same day) because he was trying to take her daughter away from her.  Also, I know she was asking for an increase in child support, which was $7,000. A MONTH.

Yesterday, I thought the decision was terrible. I felt like Luda was malicious and did, in fact, marry Eudoxie to stick it to Tamika. I also felt like he simply didn’t want to pay child support and took this as an opportunity to stick it to Tamika.

But then I heard some new information this morning on the Tom Joyner Morning show here in Houston on Majic 102.1.

1. Tamika currently makes $800 a month as a supervisor over housekeeping for a hotel chain.

2. Currently, Tamika’s expenses are 4 times as much as her income.

3. After her first child was born, she disappeared for a few years. This made the court question possible child abandonment issues.

4. The judge ultimately weighed Tamika’s instability against Luda’s stability (of which I’m sure is majority financial).

I have to eat my words.  Every single tweet I hit “send” on…I take it back.  I agree with the decision now. $800 a month? There’s no way. And she’s living way above her means! No ma’am. The judge suggested she look for a better job, and I’m in full agreement.  that’s just not okay.

Tamika will have 11 days out of the month to spend with her daughter, however, from what I saw yesterday (forgot from where), those visits will be supervised. I don’t agree with that, but again, maybe there’s something else we aren’t aware of.

The right decision was made, here.

UPDATED: January 29, 2015, 12:50

Oooooookay. So I heard this yesterday, but it’s popping up today as well.

The word is that prior to this, Ludacris had never met his daughter. And if that is the case, then NAH. I’m sorry, but no.  This is cruel. Taking a child from her mother, who she has been with every single day, basically because you don’t want to pay child support?  Making her live with someone she doesn’t even know?

This could’ve worked out so much better. No, Tamika doesn’t make that much money, but the child doesn’t know the her father. It’s mean. And petty.

Again, I have no source to quote…but it’s come from different people. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if it’s true.

Kinda where I am…

So Lil Wayne is suing Cash Money (Birdman) for $51milli. And more.

Remember when Lil Wayne tweeted this?

Well, it turns out that he was dead serious.

TMZ reports:

Lil Wayne has made good on his promise to go after Cash Money … because he’s filed a lawsuit asking a judge to end his contract with Birdman‘s label.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Wayne says Birdman and company violated the deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, “Tha CarterV.”

Wayne claims because Cash Money is refusing to pay, he’s entitled to walk.

But Lil Wayne wants more than just a declaration of freedom. He’s suing for $51 MILLION.

And Wayne wants the judge to declare he’s the joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings … which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj and several others.

Sources connected to Wayne tell TMZ … if Birdman antes up then he can release “Tha Carter V,” but only if Wayne gets paid. Wayne says he was supposed to get an $8 million advance when he began recording in December, 2013 and another 2M when he completed the album a year later, but so far he’s gotten nothing.

There are also rumors that Lil Wayne plans on taking Nicki Minaj and Drake away with him.

It’s been said that Birdman isn’t the best when it comes to paying his artists, but WHO KNEW that would be the case here?

We’ll have to see how it plays out, but I’m thinking this is gonna get messy.

Kanye West approves of Jean Touitou’s “Last Niggas in Paris” clothing line, but Timberland says NOPE.

First of all, let’s address this Kanye West mess:

A.P.C. founder, Jean Touitou, has dubbed an assortment of items from his forthcoming fall ’15 menswear collection, “Last Niggas in Paris.”

The Tunisian-French creative director unveiled the controversial collection during the final weekend of fashion week in Paris.

According to, Touitou presented four models, each wearing unique camel overcoats, gray sweatpants and A.P.C. co-branded Timberlands. He explained that the inspiration behind the pieces came from “the hood” and the 1972 film Last Tango in Paris.

While holding up a sign that read: “Last NI##@$ IN PARIS”, Touitou addressed the audience.

“I call this one look ‘Last Niggas in Paris.’ Why? Because it’s the sweet spot when the hood—the ‘hood—meets Bertolucci’s movie Last Tango in Paris,” he said. “So that’s ‘Niggas in Paris’ and Last Niggas in Paris. Oh, I am glad some people laughed with me. Yes, I mean, it’s nice to play with the strong signifiers. The Timberland here is a very strong ghetto signifier. In the ghetto, it is all the Timberlands, all the big chain. Not at the same time—never; it’s bad taste. So we designed Timberlands with Timberland…”

And look at this:

“I am friends with Kanye and he and I presented a joint collection at the same place, one year ago, and that this thing is only a homage to our friendship,” Touitou said “As a matter of fact, when I came up with this idea, I wrote to him, with the picture of the look and the name I was giving to it, and he wrote back immediately saying something like, ‘I love this vibe.'”

“Well, I asked my black friend and he said it was cool so it’s cool.”

And “I love this vibe?” Really, Kanye? REALLY?

Of calling a clothing line, with THESE “looks”…

… “Last Niggas in Paris”?????????

Kanye West rants and raves in his music about blacks being slaves or whatever but he cosigns this garbage.

Interesting (no, not really).

But peep this.  You see how this designer is working with the Timberland brand?

Check out this statement from Timberland:

Kanye, take notes.  Oh, and you wonder why you won’t get taken seriously in the fashion world?

BYE Kanye.

“Cease and Desist” – Nene Leakes serves Kenya Moore for defamation

I woke up to a reader alerting me of this post from Kenya Moore’s Instagram account:

My dislike for Nene is only getting stronger.  Kenya takes her fair share of shots at Nene (mainly her physical appearance), but Nene DEFINITELY returns the favor. This is so silly and so stupid. I cannot. I don’t even understand how this is even a for real legal issue. LOL

Nene surely can dish it out but can’t take even a bit of it. Get her out of here. This is laughable.

By the way. Can someone PLEASE let Nene know that NOBODY else is hurting her character/image? She’s doing a REALLY good job of accomplishing that herself.

Just wow.

BYE Nene.
