Fail of the Week (so far): Federal Student Aid TRIED IT

I keep trying to tell these people that I am available to manage their social media accounts.  It’s clear that they aren’t doing so well in that department.  Anyway, so the Federal Student Aid Twitter account thought that this was a good idea.

And I’m just like….

No. No no no no no.

Do you understand how stupid this is?

OF COURSE the tweet has since been removed because they received reactions like:

The apology…..

Now.  I’m not all “BURN THEM AT THE STAKE” about this.  I’m really not.  But, I believe it was really really really stupid.  Mainly because it has so much potential to be taken offensively.  Also, because of the discussion about student loans/cost of college/education in general?  This shows that they are completely out of touch.  Yes, it was one person who did this, but they are representing, and are tweeting from, a federal agency.

It’s stupid.

And why does a federal agency feel the need to be funny in the first place?  Yeah.  It just wasn’t a good move. SMH

‘Why Black Men Need More White Women’ – GOP Strategist Raynard Jackson:

Well well well. Look at this piece of sh*t right here:

Pointing to disheartening unemployment statistics, President Obama’s support for the LGBTQ community and his stance on immigration, Jackson opines that Obama is undermining the desirability of Black men to Black women by not addressing issues that negatively impact the Black community.

Because of this, Jackson chastises Black women for supporting one Black men to the detriment of millions.

This is why Black men need more White women like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham.  Even though they are conservative media personalities, they have done more to promote the well-being of Black males than many of the very women who stridently complain about the lack of “eligible” Black men.

Obama has done more for same-sex marriage couples than he has for his same-race brothers and sisters. In fact, Newsweek dubbed him our first gay president – not for his sexual orientation, but for his relentless pandering to homosexuals. He has also advocated amnesty for those in this country illegally, which will only continue to increase the unemployment rate in the Black community, especially among low and under-skilled Black workers. This will further decrease the pool of potential Black men for women to date and marry. Let’s face it, our women are not going to marry someone who is unemployed or underemployed. Historically, Black women have been notoriously protective of their men and children. It is ironic that Coulter and Ingraham, two conservative White women, are now assuming that role. We Black men need more White women like Coulter and Ingraham, not Black women who will give a pass to a failing Black president.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what you get when you let anybody just publish anything.

This is what you get when you have someone willing to scratch the bottom of a sh*t-filled barrel to attempt to make a point.  Like, how do you even get from point A to point B with this?

This here is what you get when you have a black man thirsting so much for the attention and accolades of his predominately white political party, that he is willing to throw an ENTIRE sex of an ENTIRE race/ethnicity under the bus in the most offensive of ways.

His hate for President Barack Obama and his longing to be patted on the back by those higher up in the republican party is so deep, that he is willing to, somehow, tie black women voting for that ONE person to abandoning ALL black men. The generalization is ridiculous, just as much as it is childish.

But let me assure you of this.  This is one black man that I don’t want either way it goes. He really can go hop in the bed with both Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin and have a wonderful threesome.  That is actually what he deserves.  He could go out here and impregnate an entire family of white women and make wonderful mixed babies and I would honestly be alright. He could go out and flaunt as many white women as he desires on his arm and not a single f*** would be given that day. Not a single one.

His lack of common sense and logic is even more unattractive to me than that stupid grin and unkempt face. In fact, I’m willing to say that it’s safer for EVERY black woman if they didn’t end up with this imbecile.

P.S.  When black men talk down on ALL black women, are they aware that they are speaking about their own mothers as well?

Mos Def Can’t Get Back Into The United States

According to All Hip Hop News, Mos Def is having some legal/immigration problems and can’t get back into the US.

Dante Terrell Smith may want America to see him as Yasiin Bey but we may not see him at all for a long time. According to representatives at Boston music festival Together Boston, Mos Def has cancelled his U.S. tour due to being banned from the country.

The music festival, Together Boston sent out a message stating that Mos Def would not be participating in this year’s event and was canceling his upcoming U.S. tour. According to the statement on the festival’s official website, Mos Def is unable to re-enter the United States of America due to “immigration/legal issues”:

We regret to inform you that due to immigration / legal issues Yasiin Bey is unable to enter back into the United States and his upcoming U.S. tour has been canceled, including May 15th, Together Boston’s show at The Wilbur Theatre. Individual ticket refunds for this show are available at point of sale.

Last July, Mos Def participated in European news outlet The Guardian‘s simulated force feeding of food similar to what is alleged to occur in Guantanamo Bey.

(I’m sure it’s Guantanamo Bay)

Anyway, what in the world is going on?

I just looked it up and it seems like he was born in Brooklyn so not really sure what “immigration issues” there could be?

HOWEVER, I also know that he has been openly critical of the United States government. Hmm.

Here is his experimental video he did to protest the US treatment of force feeding Guantanamo detainees when they went on a hunger strike.

Vladimir Putin Continues To Expose His Napoleon Complex

What happens when you give a little man who happens to be bitter a whole lot of power? Vladimir Putin happens.  And nothing good usually comes from it.  Today, he held a televised question and answer session.  One of the callers was Edward Snowden. He stays trolling the US government. LOL.

Anyway, Putin addressed the situation in the Ukraine:

Putin stated that the legislature has given him the right to intervene militarily in eastern Ukraine to protect ethnic Russians and as David M. Herszenhorn of the New York Times put it, he, ”stressed Russia’s historical claim to the territory, repeatedly referring to it as “new Russia” and saying that only “God knows” why it became part of Ukraine.”

This echoed his remarks on Ukraine last month, when he stated that “for a number of reasons – may God judge them – added large sections of the historical South of Russia to the Republic of Ukraine.”

This situation may have started with a major geopolitical setback for Russia, but now the president may view it as an opportunity to reverse what he sees as a historical wrong committed against Russia during the breakup of the Soviet Union.

It’s not going to get better.  It will get worse.

The question is, what should the United States do?  Should we do anything?

One comment made on “Morning Joe” earlier this week  by Dr. Brzezinski (former national security advisor for President Carter) was that the Ukraine military needs weapons, and in response the US sent pre-packaged food.

This was a really good segment:

Also.  It is to be noted that Putin give ZERO fawks about sanctions and what the US thinks.  Zero.

Call It What It Is: The Affordable Care Act

President Obama disappointed me.  I think it was a terrible mistake to embrace what the Republicans named the healthcare LAW, “Obamacare.”

Every single time I hear it, I cringe.  In my opinion, it cheapens it.  And it makes the lowly informed layperson forget that it is, indeed, a law.

Either way, it’s here.  And I am of the opinion that it is amazing.  I will never understand the fight against people being able to get insurance, no matter the condition.  I simply don’t get it.

In case you live under a rock, tonight at 11:59pm is the deadline for signing up for the Affordable Care Act. I was watching “Morning Joe” this morning and there was someone on there talking about it, who is clearly against it. He was asking someone else (who is in support of ACA) if they thought the White House was making up the numbers in order to reach the magic 6,000,000 number of people enrolled.

Um. THE WHITE HOUSE? Just…faking numbers? KNOWING how much you people are gonna be watching? Come on.  So yeah, when that got absolutely shot down, this person then asked if enough healthy people were signing up for it to make it all really worth it.  The response was that what REALLY matters is that sick people are getting covered.  I mean…

Anyway, not everybody is being complete idiots about HEALTHCARE (can we all agree that this really isn’t about healthcare at all?).

^^ FOR. THE. WIN. And if you have no idea what this is referring to, then that just means you didn’t watch arguable THE bst television show EVER.

^^This touched my heart.

^^ It’s true. Cause. Mitt Romney…but I digress…

^^Okay. So this is funny.

^^BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And just in case you want to read the story, click here.

Here’s a piece of the response….

Ted Cruz

LOL!  I know those are just two responses, but there were enough positive responses for multiple media outlets to write about it.

Either way, if you haven’t got covered, make sure you do so.  Yes, it’s probably going to take longer as the website is experiencing some difficulties, but tell me what website doesn’t when literally a million (or more) people are on it at the same time trying to do the same thing.

I’ll wait.
