Okay. So FIRST of all, if you haven’t seen “The Wiz,” you need…NEED to go get your life. It was released in 1978 and is EVERYTHING.
Diana Ross as Dorothy, Michael Jackson as Scarecrow, Nipsey Russell as Tin Man, Ted Ross as The Cowardly Lion, Richard Pryor as The Wiz, Lena Horne as Glinda the Good Witch….and on and on and on!

Well, when I first heard about a remake I must admit that I wasn’t too thrilled. But after seeing the casting and the first images, I am EXCITED! I believe (hope!?) that “The Wiz” – Live does “The Wiz” some justice.

The casting is PERFECT (of course I feel like Bey should be in here somewhere but that’s neither here nor there). The costumes are PERFECT! I’m looking forward to the production being PERFECT as well!
