Justin Bieber has been arrested. Again.

Look. Just lock him up. I mean…it’s like he’s BEGGING for it.

TORONTO (AP) — Canadian police say pop star Justin Bieber has been charged with dangerous driving and assault after a collision between a minivan and an ATV led to a physical altercation in southwestern Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police say Tuesday that the incident happened Friday afternoon near Bieber’s hometown of Stratford and that he was released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 29.

Earlier this month, Bieber pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of careless driving and resisting arrest seven months after his arrest in Miami Beach following what police initially called an illegal street drag race.

Bieber is also charged in Toronto with assaulting a limousine driver in late December. His lawyers have said he is not guilty in that case.

I really feel like he’s crying for help/intervention. Buuuut yeah. Guess he’s just gonna have to self-destruct, huh?

Lupe Fiasco Raises A Good Question

I’ll start by saying this.  I’m not here for Lupe Fiasco.  I mean, I was cool with him for a minute, but then he started acting out and I had to get rid of him in the racial draft.  I think we traded him for like Bubba Sparxxx or something.

HOWEVER, and it pains me to say this, I am on the same page with Mr. Fiasco with this particular sentiment.

Hip Hop artist Lupe Fiasco has something to say about the recent Justin Bieber racist rap tape double-hitter. Lupe thinks the Bieber has been let off way too easy following his racist recordings. Moreover, Fiasco is disgusted that so many of African Americans have come quickly to his defense.

The pop icon has been in deep trouble since last week when the two leaked videos showed him using the N-word and singing about joining the Ku Klux Klan and murdering African Americans.

Almost immediately, Young Money’s Mack Maine and Lil Wayne, as well as boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Bieber’s mentor Usher chimed in to show their support for Bieber throughout the scandal.

Lupe Fiasco, however, says that this is only because of Bieber’s pop star status. No one else, he contends, would be given a pass like this.

Fiasco even compared Bieber’s comments to former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s statements made on a leaked tape on which he was also heard making racist comments.

Fiasco told MTV: “Justin Bieber said it (so) it’s cool, and people are already coming to his defense. I don’t think anybody should be allowed to profit off racism. Donald Sterling made a billion dollars (when) he sold the team, and there was such an uproar about somebody who didn’t use the N-word at all, but then you have somebody who made a very racist joke about it.

Very good point.  Also, it’s probably worth noting that while Bieber absolutely knew he was being recorded, and was still comfortable with saying such things, Donald Sterling did think he was talking privately.

Don’t take that as a defense of Donald Sterling, it most definitely isn’t, but it raises the question of why was Bieber given such a huge pass?

Lupe goes on to say:

“I wonder if Justin Bieber’s gonna get the same treatment as Donald Sterling? I don’t think he will… It’s an absurd thing. You get somebody who we ‘like’ who says it, and says it even more ‘racist-ier’ and we don’t bat an eyelash at it.”

Bieber was also defended by none other than 50 Cent, who claimed that Bieber just “lost” himself during his quick ascent up the ladder of fame.

“I don’t think he’s a racist. I don’t think even he knows who he is at this point – he’s so young,” 50 told Britain’s The Sun. “When you see people become huge stars real early, it’s tough for them. You have to grow up with all these expectations. I think Justin’s still a baby and he’s lost.”

What do you think? Is 50 Cent right? Is Bieber just “finding himself”? Or is Lupe Fiasco right to call Bieber and his defenders out?

Again.  Very good points.  Now.  I’m not saying that I would expect these celebrities to come out and bash Justin Bieber, but it is interesting how quick they were to jump on the “he’s good” train.

I don’t want to hear about his age.  He was old enough to know exactly the power of the word.  Am I suggesting that there be a protest against Justin Bieber?  That people ban together and trash him?  No, I am not.  But I do think we shouldn’t be so quick to publicly excuse the behavior.

Either way, he’s since apologized, and has gotten baptized. So I guess that’s that.

As the world turns.

Justin Bieber Has Intense Bible Study/Gets Baptised in Bathtub (Cause…racism)

Seems like Justin Bieber felt the need to turn to the Lord given these past couple of videos that have been released as of late.

TMZ reports:

Justin Bieber turned to the Lord while being shaken down over his racist videos — and TMZ has learned he washed away his sins with a baptism performed in a bathroom.

Pastor Carl Lentz — who works with Bieber in NYC — tells us he spent a week doing intense Bible study with Justin last month … in the wake of being extorted over the videos.

As we previously reported — JB’s team was contacted 2 months ago by a man in possession of the videos and wanted a million dollar payday or else he’d go public.

We’re told Bieber’s religious resurgence focused on studying Bible passages and attending services … culminating in an actual baptism performed in the bathtub of one of the singer’s friends.

Why a bathtub, you ask?  We’re told JB previously checked out a bunch of churches for the dip — but his cover was blown every time and he wanted to keep the whole thing private.

Justin’s now got a clean slate with God — but the public is a harder nut to crack.

I think I have an opinion, but I don’t think I need to share it.  Mainly because I cannot know the relationship one has with God.  If this was sincere, then good for him.  Sometimes it takes a long time for us to truly face our demons.

And to be honest, him getting right with the Lord is the only act of forgiveness that really matters. So.  That’s that.
