Breastfeeding.

So I saw a discussion on Twitter about breastfeeding and if something is or isn’t okay blah blah blah, and I decided to figure out what the source of the discussion was.  Turns out it was a picture. So then I asked for someone to show me the picture.  This is what was sent to me.

Wut.

Now.  Let me go ahead and put this out here.

(1)  I am not a mother.  I have never breastfed a baby in my life.  Although babies tend to think that I’m supposed to give them this service.  No, little baby.  My boobs are just….

I digress.

(2) I am more on the conservative side when it comes to private body parts BEING ALL OVER THE INTERNET.  I don’t even believe in sending nudes to your significant other (married couples not included)

Now that we’ve covered that, I’ll continue. NO.  That’s really it.  I mean, it’s nothing that warrants public outcry or whatever, but…NO.  I don’t know.  I just think of breastfeeding as bonding time or something.  Not a time to POSE FOR A PICTURE!? And I say pose because I don’t recall seeing a lot of mommies standing with knees bent and such to breastfeed. This was a purposeful pose.

I remember when I hopped on Facebook and saw a picture of a mother breastfeeding her child.  SHE took the picture herself and from that angle you could literally see the baby with the nipple in their mouth.  Like, why?  At that point and time, what makes one think, “Oh, let me take a picture of this AND POST IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA!”

Now, don’t get me wrong.  I’m not against public breastfeeding.  If your baby is hungry go ahead and pop that titty out and do what you do, ya know?  Baby is screaming and hungry, I mean, you gotta handle that.

To each her own, but I’m just thinking that this is in poor taste. No biggie, tho.

What do y’all think?

P.S.  That baby isn’t being held properly. I’m more concerned about that than anything.  Like what are you doing?

I had to come back and post this tweet I just saw:
