That is Nas with Angela Davis (who is like…THE feminist), who he called his “HERO.” So yeah. Maybe it’s safe to just wait until Nas himself clears it all up and tells us what he meant in the first place?
This is what I WILL say. I think there is a huge misunderstanding of feminism out here. Even I need more education. If you look at it on just the surface, and your only experience is what you see on Twitter or when someone stirs up feminists, then yeah. You will be led to believe that they are man hating women who simply aren’t ever happy. Seriously, there was this one who I followed who was (seemingly) extremely angry EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It was exhausting.
I think it’s worth really looking into what feminism is, and what it isn’t.
