Jay Z Disses Drake

Jay Z disses Drake on his new track with Jay Electronica, “We Made It.”

I was confused about this at first because I thought we liked Drake cause he did that song with Bey, but then I was reminded of when Drake came at Jay in his Rolling Stone interview (in Feb) saying,

“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references,” Drake said in the interview. “I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”

Drake wasn’t happy with this story in the Rolling Stone because there were other comments posted that he said he didn’t talk about in his “interview portion” of the Rolling Stone. I guess he thought he was “off the record” when talking MUSIC with the INTERVIEWER. SMH. I wrote more about it here, “Uh Oh. Drake Is Mad At Rolling Stone.”

Anyway, Jay Z addressed this.  He raps in “We Made It,”

“Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk/silly me, rappin’ ’bout sh– that I really bought/while these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot/and a bunch of other silly sh– that they ain’t got.”

Mrs. Drizzy.

OOP!

WELP! Looks like it’s your turn Aubrey. Or not.  Maybe you should just…kick it with Rihanna or something….
